* Heads the FinTech Department. The key responsibilities include Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), Fintechs- regulatory approach/ framework, Fintech Innovation, Regulatory Sandbox, Hackathon, RegTech, Suptech, Open Finance initiatives through Account Aggregator, P2P lending, policies relating to virtual digital assets, emerging technologies, activities of Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) - the subsidiary of RBI, etc. * Had represented India in engagements with Multilateral Institutions including Financial Stability Board (FSB). * Has 28 years’ experience with the Central Bank for the last with more than 15 years’ hands on experience in Supervision encompassing commercial banks, large non-banks and cooperatives. Has served on the Board of commercial banks. * Handled core functions of the Central Bank including Currency Management, Foreign Exchange, Rural Credit, Planning, Auditing & Budgeting. * Has an education background of MBA, MS in Finance and Financial Regulation from UK.
